A couple of people who know him said on BBC News that he was a quiet and placid man so something must have pushed him over the edge, councellor of the local area there said that there was some fued with another taxi driver?.

Well Im not sure. No normal human that has had a normal life could have done this, unless they were seriously under a bad dose of drugs.... drugs could be the reason, or he is either psycho and escaped from somewhere or he was on revenge of some sort.

No average person could have done that, he must have had some serious problems with his mental state of mind.
