Not being funny, but Josie is clearly emotionally needy and we know she's got a low self esteem and low body confidence.
She's probably embarrassed for him and by him because she's not going to know what to do with herself if JJ really did leave.
Perhaps she is a little concieted, but I think alot of it was said in panic and embarrassment.

Funny everything youve said about Josie could apply to JJ more so!

He'd be far more lost without her than vice versa. She gets on well with everybody.

He's not too proud of his body either and seems self conscious too. For opposite reason; probably feels too skinny.

So do I! She said it on the HLs show last night when they were in bed talking (again) - if you recorded it, ff to around 27minutes to listen to the convo all through. JJ is definitely not telling her he's in love with her or anything close, yet a little bit later he is making a bolt for it? I don't buy it, and why THAT fire exit if not to cause maximum attention and camera shots?

God, yeah, Josie was one of my fave housemates. Not anymore. What a bitch she is really turning out to be.

I thought the josie hate on here was over the top and for no reason. I still think some of it is over the top, but I am now seeing the reason for it.

The "hate" is over the top and comments about her weight sometimes go a bit far, but her behaviour as you have now noticed, has always been about her.
Her concern for JJ1 was only for how she looks. It was the same when he walked before. If BB hadnt called her to the DR then JJ1 could have gone and she did nothing to stop him. All she was concerned about was her image. She then layed on the floor so as not to be seen on camera.
With her it has always been image and how she has been portrayed outside.

I think JJ1 is a plonker....but the OPs point i believe is tthat Josie was only thinking of how it made her look, and not how JJ1 was feeling.
Her muttering under her breath "Stop making a show of me" as she walked across the grass towards him in the DR, was not good.

I thought it wasn't very nice how she was saying that and more or less thinking about herself. He was upset and she was just laughing, sitting there, carrying on having a fag. She did the same when Keeva left and didn't go in to say bye to her. I think Josie goes a bit far sometimes and makes John feel like s**t and then he apologises for something he hasn't done because he likes her so much. I felt sorry for him. At least Dave and JJ went to see if he was okay, they didn't care about going after him in the camera runs and getting into trouble and whatever, they just did it.

Seems no-one also picked up on the fact that he did a nice slow walk THROUGH the house in order to deliberately leave by the fire exit right NEXT to where Josie was sitting, having first had a bit of a chat about the situation with JJ2 sufficient to make him follow him outside to the garden. Once JJ1 was sure he had an audience he goes through the fire exit at a snails pace thereby ensuring plenty of time for anyone to grab him.

If no-one else thinks that was not contrived attention seeking sh*t I'm not bothered, because I know what I saw and what I heard, and it's just the same old manipulating crap from those two desperadoes.

Nah..dont buy it....your spot of her comment about the FE was good, but her reaction as she was walking across the grass and again in front of the DR was not rehersed or thought out. It was a pure responce to how she believed the situation was making her look.
