Teachers are useless at spotting/stopping bullying IMO. They always seem to be on the side of the bullies. Some girl got her collarbone broke at our school, after 2 girls jumped on her (for seemingly no reason...even if there was a reason, 2 on one is pathetic) and she bust one of their noses trying to defend herself. And the teacher actually put the girl in detention for hitting back. Pathetic.
Primary schools are no different. Me and gav are having a bit of a problem with this right now. His oldest son, is 7 and is getting picked on at school. gavin has been up numerous times about it, only to be told that everytime he gets hit, noone is looking so they cant do anything. Despite the other kids telling the teachers who it is, and other kids also getting hit off the same person. We think the teacher is scared of the kids mother. Shes a beast, and a big mouth ![]() I'm in a really bad situation though, because usually my way of sorting this as it has gone on too long, would be to confront the mother of the little bastard. But, I'm currently waiting on my police check coming through (which needs to be clear so I can get my personal license for a bar). And I KNOW that if I speak to her it will end in a fight, shes just one of those types. I dont care about that as I am more than capable of handling myself, and she would soon realise she has tried it with the wrong person, but IF the police get involved, theres my chance of getting a bar ****ed. Teachers dont give a **** about the kids, they just want an easy life. Why worry if some child is getting hit...when if you step in and do something about it you might get a mouthful off some bitch? |

But sometimes the teachers ACTUALLY do see the bullying right in front of their faces, but they do nothing about it.
I remember a substitute teacher was WATCHING AND SMILING at a kid getting kicked on the floor. The stupid *****ing b!tch.

I know right! Today when the chavs were throwing sh*t at me, I realised the majority of them were girls. And I was like 'What The ******?' And in school, one time just before I was in quite a big fight, this girl kept getting all up in my face and I was like 'Who the ****** are you love?' And she actually hit me, I mean why is it girls can hit lads but if we do it, you're branded a woman beater and everyone hates you ![]() I've never hit a girl, nor do I condone in but I agree, I mean it's not right they get away with walking all over boys who did nothing to them and we can't even stand up to them in a physical way because it's seemed as being horrible.

I dont believe in any of this namby pamby bull that girls can hit guys but the guy cant hit them back.
If you think you are big enough to hit a bloke, you are big enough to get a slap back. Simple as. Last edited by Vicky.; 10-11-2010 at 10:24 PM. |

![]() So true though. Today, in English we had a sub that's about 50, I mean the thought that she could of been someone's nan and let this happen, This boy was calling my mum a slut and stuff and basically hitting me in the back of the head looking for a reaction. And I knew I was going to snap, so I put my hand up and was like 'Ms, Could You Tell Him To Be Quiet?' And she was like tutting and just ignored me ![]() And then he carried on infront of the whole class, and I put my hand up again and was like 'MISS TELL HIM TO SHUT THE ****** UP NOW!' and she actually threw ME out when it was him throwing stuff about and hitting me ![]() Pathetic.

Disagree with Tom completely, nobody should have to face bullying and its not survival of the fittest at all!!! Were not hunting for food here y'know, bullying can really lower your self confidence depending on who you are, you might be some cocky twat but others are not and cannot handle it well.
Ive been bullied in the past, both primary + secondary school, I give what I get and have a pretty sharp tongue when needed but that does not say it doesnt affect me simply because I stuck up for myself, it makes you feels low and ****ty even if you dont show it to them. And '9 times out of 10' its never 1:1, they always bring others in, even if they are just laughing at what theyre doing to you, not nice and plain cowardly.

The teachers at my school were completely clueless. Most didn't give a sh*t, my art teacher even joined in with the others humiliating me in class and then sent me out the classroom for forgetting an pencil.

I also find it laughable that some people that work in schools essentially get paid for shouting at kids [the people who work in Behaviour Departments etc]. What sort of job is that? ![]() |

Right a few years ago in Religious Studies, this boy kept kicking my chair from behind while the teacher was standing at the back of the class so she could see it all, and I was like "dude what's your problem", he kept doing it so I said "P!ss off" and the teacher told me off. She KNEW he was kicking my chair, but she says ****all. I just wanted to go mental and kill her. ![]()

Oh, and I agree that the notion of 'guys can't hit girls' is complete bollocks. Thanfully, I've never had a proper physical fight yet [no reason to, I generally avoid physical conflict]...but if a girl were to hit me I would hit them the **** back. What's gender got to do with anything?

I was never bullied,I had a close group of Friends who I was always with so guess I was fortunate, but, there was a lad who was really small compared to the other lads and for 2 years he was bullied.
He had to cough up money, had to run errands for the bullies who were,it turned out 3 lads and 2 girls of the same age. They would walk him home if he said he had no money so he could get some, they would be great with his parents who were oblivious as we all were to him being bullied. They took turns to meet him when school finished, one was always near him in the rooms in case he said anything. He was often off ill, his grades fell, he got wrong off his parents for that, the teachers had no time for him, just said he was unable to concentrate. By accident some of my Friends eventually noticed he wouldn't go out at break time, also that he always looked near to tears. Eventually some of us watched him and once these bullies got him alone they were rotten but appeared to be his friend when anyone was around. He was petrified to say anything but in the end, we did, we told teachers, his parents and made sure he wasn't alone until the bullies were dealt with. Thankfully they were,he got sorted out and is fine now but for me, bullying is the lowest act possible by total disgusting cowards. I don't care how old they may be or how young, they are a rotten stain on society. They never give up until they are caught doing it,anyone being bullied should confide in just one person they know they can trust, sadly they don't and for 2 years this lad suffered mental torture. The main thing is that once the bullied person wants to tell someone, they need to choose a person who they know will not dismiss it, will act with them and for them to stop it and be there during and after the whole sorry process. The sad thing is some people being bullied never tell anyone and just suffer or end their lives and that is awful to think of. I was annoyed with myself that all those of us around him never suspected anything for those 2 years, once some of us did, thankfully it wasn't too late. Woah
![]() I never realised how many people thought that, I know it's only like 4 people on this forum but still it's kind of opened my eyes. Lmao Guys, do you reckon I should report what happened to me today? > The guys calling me gay, Like it's really getting to me now > The girl hitting me a slap in TD > People accusing me of bullying my best mate and threatening me > Girls and a Lad from my school, throwing stuff at me on the bus. Is it worth reporting to the Deputy Head?
