7 inches of the white stuff here and snowing hard. 2 hours to dig the car out is not so good.

Met Office now have cold until at least 27 dec

UK Outlook for Monday 13 Dec 2010 to Monday 27 Dec 2010:

The cold conditions are likely to continue. Precipitation amounts should be average or slightly below, with a risk of sleet and snow at times in many areas. Sunshine amounts are likely to be above average, although some southeastern parts may see more in the way of cloud. Temperatures are likely to continue below average, with widespread frosts, sometimes severe. However, some western and southern parts may be less cold at the start of the period in particular, but still with the risk of further rain, sleet and snow.

Finally got snow! It's been snowing most the day here, it has been so fun! I finished lectures at 3 and went back to my accomadation which is part of a student village... so it is literally all students - we had a huge snowball fight and saw so many randoms that I made friends with in freshers week and lost touch with.

According to my chemistry teacher theres gonna be light snow at 6pm, medium snow at 9pm and heavy snow at 3am

Guildford , A3 today.

All these people stuck in Airports
moaning - what do you expect , all local Hotels are Full.
It would be better to check the Weather before going to the Airport.


On SkyNews
Heathrow says Closed
but a Reporter asked the boss why some planes were leaving.
Only a few on Terminal 3 or 5.
And only a few went.

Saying its Closed is Best
as people just Turn Up and
and think by magic all the Ice will be gone.

One Woman Live on SkyNews now
has had enough of Virgin,
she was meant to go to SF for Xmas to meet her brother.
Virgin told her the next flight is 26th of Dec.

She was told she may be able to get a Flight
so thats why she went there with her young son and mother.

Yes Lady it is bad news
but you can not tell me that all the Ice with go away for your Flight.

Its not just Virgin at fault.

with passengers forced to sleep where they could find floor space

I only got like 2 inches the first time it snowed this month, but on friday we got just over 5 inches, i still drove to a resturant the night after, it snowed again this morning but only a little.
