I was actually interested in why Doctors haven't bothered to find out what is wrong.

With the fish it's apparently cold water stress or something like that. I expect there's some bird disease resurfacing or something with the rest of the incidents.

I don't know why but Bird Disease always sounds more sever than Swine Flu or anything to do with Pigs.

Because birds can travel freely across the world, unlike pigs/most animlas, it does make it seem a little more severe.
