Never seen the need for it, better ways to make points and get your message across than using any kind of swearing language that someone else may find even just slightly offensive.

I don't hear anybody saying they need it to get their point across. I could go back in time and remove all the swear words from my posts the points would remain exactly the same. I just happen to like colourful language. If someone is stupid enough to get offended at an innocuous arrangement of letters it's not my problem.
