Locke.

Autumn 2011 it changes from E4 to Comedy Central. So they'll easily fit another two or three full re-airs of the show after the current one

Jolly good

I agree.
Chandler was the funniest, until he got together with Monica. Mondler ruined the character though. ![]() The one where he gets stuck in the leather trousers, lol. |

Ross was amazing.
Chandler was definitely the best til he got with Monica. Joey was great but in a different way to the other 2. Don't find any of the women funny really, Rachel is ok though. |

Also I agree. Joey in Season 10 was unbearable. He knew what the "animals going to farm" thing meant in Season 1 and he wasn't that stupid, and then in the last episode he just knew like nothing. Ridiculous. ![]() I tend to dislike the episodes with Ross and Rachel together the more I watch them. I love Ross and Rachel together but you want them so much more when they're arguing and when you think they'll get together. When they actually were I was just like, "ugh hurry up and split up". |

Joey was no worse than most sitcoms that are on tv these days

Truth hurts.

I think they picked the wrong spin off, but all the other Friends were hooked up.
I wanted to see a 'Gunther at Central Perk' show - it could have been the new 'Cheers'. |

Watched them all in the 90's and LOVED the show. I doubt I could watch re-runs though oddly

I never really found Joey that funny, he was just a giant ball of cliché

Chandler was the best in the early ones. He seemed to be more witty and loved the fact he lived in a fairly normal apartment sharing and therefore had loads of money to spend. Also them all trying to get him to quit smoking was it. It got a bit rubbish when they all started hooking up with eachother. Expecially Ross and Rachel
The whole baby thing annoyed me with Monica and Chandler as well, went on right until the end. Phoebe and Joey seemed sorta male and female versions of eachother at times, a little bit kooky n that. They had a few good one liners now and then but were never THAT funny. They seemed to get pushed to the back a bit when Aniston and Cox became quite popular. Rachel was one I only liked in the earlier eps, same as Monica. They lost their charm in the later ones so to speak. Didn't meant to write that much

I think it could have carried on for longer than it did without getting stale but at least it quit while it was ahead rather than take the Simpsons road to longevity. A Friends film would be wholly pointless unless it was based on the desire to spin a storyline further, rather than as a money making venture (obviously that would be what it was, but I'd hate it to be like 'let's make money out of a Friends film' rather than 'we have an idea for a Friends film, let's make money out of that') so I think it's best to let it lie. I think it's fantastic though, the six of them work so well as an ensemble cast but none of them are really that great to watch in other roles - Lisa Kudrow's probably the most watchable out of the six of them in her other roles because you got to see some variety in her character in Friends (as Phoebe and Ursula) so she's not as definitively typecast IMO. |
