As has been mentioned, I think she was selected as a 'Bonnie' type. She's there as a token dim person. I don't think it's really ethical to be honest.

Because we live in a world now where people who look normal are made to feel like they are hideous and average, so they feel compelled to make themselves fit in to society by trying to become like the 'beautiful' ones, even if they actually look worse for it.

lets remember Alex used to post on ultimate buzz raver forum from the age of about 14 to 16ish. Since then she grew up, moved down to Essex to try out a modeling career... signed to an agency, did quite a few shoots but then moved back home to the North East. Ok so she works at mcdonalds but the girl does have guts and it's been her main aim to get onto big brother since she was very young. I don't think she should be knocked, she chased her dream and got there.. how many of us can say that???
