I don't have a problem with it myself, but others seem to have an issue with it.

Why not? This is an open forum and people are more than free to comment on threads even if their opinions don't fall under the banner of 'positive'.

If you don't like the topic you of course do have the option of voicing your views on it. The sole existence of these internet forums is for people to say what they want and voice any views they have - whether you like them or not.

This stupid teenage notion that states that you have to have positive views on a topic before commenting on it is a load of bollocks and completely misses the whole point of ... erm ... opinions.

Bottom line is you can't tell someone not to comment on a particular thread just because you don't like their views.

It's that simple.

Good for you, you still haven't explained why they offend you so much.
If you don't comment in political debate why does it affect you so deeply?
I was under that impression off season that those who wanted to post other topics for debate were entitled to do so..

During this time of political and social change these threads may pop up for those who wish to dicsuss them, and they may get heated at times, if that offends you theres not a lot I can do about it.

When did I say they offend me? I just think they should be in different sections so it would be better if there was a news or Politics sections. Most of the Political stuff comes from a news story someone has posted anyway.

Now I can't be arsed going round in circles with you again so you can accept that answer.

Of course it does, I said that yesterday, and vicky made the point that if separated the two sub-forums would have similar threads.
