One word responses (usually an expletetive)when people are obviously stuck for something to say or unable to debate the issue.

What is the problem people have with the serious debates section?
I can't understand why those who don't wish to contribute to the debate get so outraged by them.
Go and chat elsewhere....
Having a view that goes against the general consensus or the more 'popular' members is not a crime either. That is my main gripe on here.
Other than that it's ok.

What is the problem people have with the serious debates section?

The fact that interesting debates and topics never seem to get far anymore. General Chat hadn't been posted in for 24 hours the other day.

Also how everyone seems to live in Chat And Games these days.

If it was Serious Debates again it probably wouldn't be as bad. It all went downhill when it got merged with News Stories. It becomes endless links with no real comments.

Okay I can't think of ten things so I'm just going to list a few that irritate me instead.

Smilies - And I'm not talking about how many are actually posted, but rather the ones that are available to be posted. I know this has all been talked about before, but half of them are completely useless in the context of most conversations throughout this site. I mean when is anyone really going to use in a post (in a serious way)?

Little grammatical things - Before I start I'm not talking about that certain member who's gotten a lot of heat over their posting style recently. I'm talking about general things, like people not putting spaces after commas and stuff. It really really really ticks me off I know it's irrational but I just don't understand it.

I'm sure I'll think of more so I'll probably come back and update this if I do remember anything.

On a dull night nothing's going on you still find yourself refreshing new posts a lot and posting in every thread possible just because you don't want to go off TiBB

But that could just be me

It's not even a negative thing, just how addictive this site is
