TV star Paul O'Grady has been rushed into hospital suffering heart problems.


The Liverpudlian comic did not appear on Monday night's Paul O'Grady Show as planned - instead being being replaced by Michael Ball, who was drafted-in to take his place.


Friends concerned at his absence from the show, which aired at prime-time slot 5pm, discovered that he had been taken to a hospital - the location of which is not yet known

O'Grady to 'rest for a few days' before returning to work
