Kmt at so many people making baseless arguments
Vote to evict, vote to save, it doesn't matter either way. We can still have a fantastic series

Most of the time on C5 vote to save has actually been a vote to evict because of the head-to-head votes. They really should have went the total other direction with it this year and instead had three nominees per week.

Take them out and we actually have the chance for cracks and fissures in the main group. CBB11 was horrid because it was all about Speidi, just like how BB12 was horrid because it was all about Aaron.
I really don't think there would have been many cracks or fissures in the CBB11 cast. I was bored of them by the end of the launch and wouldn't have bothered watching if Speidi were evicted. Then again I may have had a different opinion if I had watched it live, but I actually stopped watching after the first week and only saw the last two over the course of two days when I was sick and had nothing else to do.

If you think about it the hardcore BB fans outweigh the casual/brainless fans so it's possible that we'll have the upper hand this time round as oppose to 2004/5/6. Don't complain when the entertaining housemates get evicted when you don't even vote.

Same and they are only up if housemates nominate them look how far Charley got from BB8 because the housemates did not nominate her also they will probably add more house mates like they did in BB7 when the good ones left.

There has been lots of good series on channel 4 and it been vote to evict

Why is there no live feed online?
There will be no 24 hour live feed from the House online. We have decided to focus on the nightly highlights show and on directly engaging with the show's viewers and fans through social media platforms.

Big Brother: Live From The House will return on 5* from 7-9pm Monday to Saturday and from 8-9pm on Sundays. There will also be additional live streaming on Channel 5 following the live evictions.

Charley was good at avoiding nominations, but she would have been gone Day 31 and Day 45 had the producers not rigged it to save her. Thank god they did because without her BB8 would have been worthless.

There have been lots of good series, but most series would have been better with vote to save. BB2, BB7, BB8, BB9, and BB11 in particular were ruined by it.

This.

All of my top 3 favourite series have been on CH4 with vote to evict, it's just the matter of having enough big characters to last the whole series (like bb6). The only fear I have is that CH5 are bad at picking housemates.

Obviously it doesn't always save good housemates, but it does a lot more than vote to evict. And in many instances when good housemates left it was a head-to-head vote so it was actually just a vote to evict.

It doesn't work in head to heads, the morons still have free reign. The majority of fans have been asking for a minimum of three nominees per week to cancel that out for years but instead they've decided to return to the old system which is almost guaranteed to fail on our part every single time.

But this is the thing, the current system is only good for more than two nominees, which is rare. So opting to vote to evict isn't s major difference to the series

I do agree with your suggestion though

1. getting rid of brian
2. Emma willis
3. 2 hour live feed
4. new show
5. The house

I still think BB14 is going to be good

I get what you're trying to say but voting to evict entices voters to get rid of the one they dislike the most and that annoys them the most (which 99% of the time is actually the one that should stay to benefit the show), whereas the principle of vote to save should (it doesn't always as you mentioned, but it does moreso than vote to evict) entice people to save the biggest character

The only way now that we're going to be able to balance this out is if they give us two or three random weeks across the series where everyone is up and it's a vote to save with a double eviction. That way we can at least get a few opportunities to cull the dull, but the chances of them giving us that are slim.

The public weren't AS terrible back then with it, but they still made some awful decisions, look at vote to evict for BB12/13/CBB9/10/11

Speidi would have gone early, Shannon Twins, Lydia first, Aaron out middle.

The only good thing about vote to evict being on C5 would have been Conor going in that 4 way with Arron/Deana/Becky.

I don't really understand where they've got this idea we want it back from. If they think a few audience members on BOTS championing vote to evict means it's a popular decision they're really sadly mistaken.
