I don't know what I am doing on his instagram and twitter. I suppose I am looking for signs of what evil looks like. I am trying to process it but all that's happening is that I literally was about to throw up my tea and blueberry muffin looking at his face.

I'm not sure. I just find the whole debate quite interesting.

What we can blame him for is acting upon that urge. Yet I feel the mothers as facilitators to this are much more to blame.

It's comparable in the sense that maybe these people can't control who they're attracted to, the major difference between the two is one is having a consenting relationship with another adult and the other is rape and abuse of an unwilling participant.

The drug-crazed former lead singer with multi-million selling band Lostprophets plotted the abuse with two mothers in a series of text and internet messages in which he spoke of his desire for "a summer of filthy child porn".

On another occasion he described wanting to "cross the line" and to intoxicate one of his victims by blowing crystal-meth smoke into the child's face.

Mr Clee read aloud to the court a series of text and internet messages between Watkins and two female co-defendants.

Watkins and Woman A swapped messages where the frontman spoke of his sick desire to "make him mine" and to "cross the line".

And on March 23, Watkins sent the woman a message saying he wanted a "summer of filthy child porn" and how he wanted to take things "to the next level".

Mr Clee also gave details of a sickening 17-minute video involving Watkins and Woman A.

Mr Clee said camcorder footage was shot in a London hotel room which showed Watkins perform a sex act on the child.

Computer analysts found the footage uploaded to an online storage facility.

Mr Clee said that following this meeting, the pair exchanged emails about how they would not go "easy" on the child next time.

He also said that a laptop seized from Watkins's home was password protected and was later sent to GCHQ to have it "cracked."

When it eventually was the password was discovered to be "I*******kids."

Going under the name of 'Trent', images were uploaded of him giving a man 'oral sex' and 'inserting a baseball bat into his anus.
The images were all leaked online.

Apparently the womens names were put on the courts website yesterday and are all over twitter.
I've yet to find them though.

But they need to be named and shamed. The child victims will already have new names no doubt, because of the leak.

In defense of the police, they probably can't do very much if someone's coming in claiming that another person is a paedophile without any proof that they've committed a crime. Still... all the warning signs were there, shocking that this happened.

I've been reading that the rest of Lostprophets decided to call it a day because they couldn't carry on knowing what he did. Bit of a crap situation for them, I know that's not what this thread is about, but still.

Absolutely. Lots of abuse has been heading their way and people need to remember that the other five members of that band are victims too.
They probably thought that they'd always be known as a member of a reasonably good rock band and will now go down in history as being part of 'that paedo band'.
They can't continue to make music and so he has effectively ended the professional careers of five other people and tainted their life's work.

I know, I was reading some of the abuse the band was getting on their official Facebook page - people demanding that they turn their profits over to charity... one member of the band is a twisted paedophile, the other five are not as far as we're all aware, and they had nothing to do with his crimes.

That is eerie. Urgh.

I just can't come to terms with this scenario at all, it's disgusting, I always loved Ian (obviously not now, he's a ****ing monster and can rot in his cell) and his music in my younger teen years and some of the Prophets work are my favourite songs of all time (obviously they are now tainted) such an odd guy, you can never tell with people at all. Sad for the victims involved, and I can't even comprehend the mother's actions, diabolical woman, you are supposed to protect your children.
