Yeah that's the most frustrating part. I'm sure there's plenty of enticing and engaging conversation going on but they actively choose to show this trashy stuff, just to appeal to a certain audience demographic. I don't think it's particularly wise of the show because the aim (in my opinion) should be to try to attract an array of an audience, so that the show is more approachable as well as sustainable. Hopefully it'll get better, but so far it's been utterly awful, in my opinion.

Why should he? Big Brother is/or at least it used to be a social experiment, nobody minds the odd bit of sex chat or fumble under the covers, but when it is given over to 90% of the highlights and it's not even interesting we have a right to complain!

of course everyone has a right to give out about something they find distasteful but to keep watching it? Im sorry but if I don't like what is happening or find it offensive or whatever I simply don't watch it anymore. If I sat there and watched it night after night and kept saying I don't like it whats the point? Peace

With all due respect Riona, if we were a week I could understand that argument but so far we have had 3 HL shows? If you are a fan of the show and have watched it for years you are not going to switch off after a few bad eps, but if they don't offer a more balanced show with tasks etc I probably will!

with all due respect Riona, this is a big brother forum, the whole point is for people to share their opinions on the show, good and bad. Most people have been watching the show for years and aren't going to switch off just because they don't like the current story line so much, Big Brother is always up and down and changing direction. If people switched off everytime something on it offended them or when they didn't like the behavior of a particular HM/s, the show would have no viewers at all left.

I dont mind smutty talk and that though really. Lee and that lass are annoying m though as their 'romance' is boring. There just needs to be a good balance. I dont want the whole show to be about motorboating and erections

I guess we watch Big Brother for different things. I watch it as a psychological experiment and to see interesting conversations and relationships develop. Not to watch people talking about sex for the whole show.

I stopped watching about half way through, I have no idea what happened with the bath tub dappy and the girls as I just couldn't be bothered to watch and that is a 1st for me. When people in the past have said *oh its a load of rubbish* I would be quick to defend it, but this time I will have to agree.
