He definitely has a bit of a thing for Casey, he's always making those kind of jokes to her. Sometimes I cringe at them but if she doesn't have a problem with it then it's okay. I'm sure she'd tell him if she did.

Both of those I took as jokey bantery matey stuff, Casey gets on really well with him, and she understands his humour. Notice he doesn't do it with Luisa or Sam, it just their thing they have clicked, I didn't like the bathing comment though..

I wasn't aware that Jims character was black, can you please post some current evidence of his misdoings. When I say current, lets go back say 24 years eh. I agree, good post Vanessa,they really do get oen great it seems and her Mum thanked Jim too for looking after her daughter.

Much of Jim's jokes have always been marmite ones, people either like them and accept them as jokes or they are used to badmouth him.

It was a joke but a completely inappropriate and IMO offensive Joke. Its what Jim does and if it hadnt been for Linda constantly trying to get him to make comments like this , we'd have seen plenty more of this from jim over the series. He's a sexist, he admits it, this is his level of humour.
