That certainly isn't. This mentality of "A gay guy deserves homophobia if he's a knob" is awful.

Again, I don't for a second think Alexander is homophobic, but what you said seemingly suggests that, even if someone said it to Perez with truly homophobic intentions, it would still be okay because it's Perez. Ridiculous.

Alexander is a decent bloke who was provoked by a very unpleasant one. He was unfairly reprimanded.

look obviously there has always been contention between the words used to describe either black people or gays etc
