Glad you agree on the Big up thingy.... I'm just expressing my views, and it doesnt happen very often because I dont like being jumped on... not that I'm saying you did but just because tanser isnt the most active is he not still allowed to say how he feels!??!?!?!

To be honest, I agree with some of what Tanser Man says... maybe you could have put it across differently though.

I mean that's why we didn't want another VBB - too cliquey.

People read what they want to read though without thinking with a different viewpoint... like people here have taking it personal and decided to take it as a personal vendetta against them.

If i wanted to get personal i would, i can find many a topic that would have people up in arms but i choose to keep a level of peace in my threads but still cling to that bit of, whats the word, its on the tip of my tounge, controversy. That way people will reply and voice there opinions and actually strive for a responce to know what they think!

So far i've made this thread and;

i'm a know it all
i'm personally attacking people

Yes, i gave some of them a word back... tit for tat, i like returning the serve. But why shriek when called upon and take the easier way out?!

I know your not having a go hon but what I'm trying to say is that everyone is allowed to get stuff off their chests. I've made similar post to Tanser in the past. If something is bothering me I will try and put my point across and try and open up a debate so that I can hear other peoples views too

There's a difference between moaning and expressing your views. I've smiled right the way through this thread. I even let my food go cold and accicently got gravey on my crotch while posting replies. I may get the cat to lick it off... but thats not my point. The point is, if a small thread like this can get you up in arms and having a debate, whats stopping you from doing it in others.

I can understand both points of view as Tanser was giving in his opinion on it which as it is a public forum he should be able to do so although on this matter, i disagree completely as i vote in the awards etc and they are good and all the rest of it.

And on the other hand i can understand why people are getting wound up because Tanser is a smart ar$e but admits it but also because the awards are a positive thing so 'what's the problem'? But as people have said, that's all part of a forum to debate and discuss.

Also, i doubt people are going to be put off voting etc Simon just because somebody has a different opinion to them and don't like the idea - i'd like to hope they wouldn't anyway.

But yeah, i can understand both P.O.V'sssss.
