I think Harriett doesn't want people to know she's competitive. She's trying hard to come across as real. I liked her until recently, when i started to notice she can be quite sly.

His calm attitude reminds me of Dexter. He was a master at exposing people true colours and NEVER got angry. He was hated in the House, but the public warmed to him.
