Having or laugh, being drunk or being a controversial character isn't an excuse for physically, emotionally or verbally inappropriate behaviour, are these the best arguments people have? They're all dumb, Aaron was correctly removed from the house.

I dont agree hoffman. The man is old enough to take responsibility for his actions. The 'they encouraged me to do it' line doesnt work. If the egged him on to jump off a bridge would he do that. His actions..hia fault.

You misunderstand me, I'm not saying that is an excuse for him in anyway, I'm saying that the rest played a part and are not innocent and although not to blame for his actions are responsible for their own actions which were disgraceful. So I agree with you but the others still have actions and behaviour they should be reprimanded for

I think what Hofman is saying, that this is not a black and white situation, plenty of blame to around.

Like I said on other thread, this involved a lot of housemates and big brother itself, not just two like Chloe and Jeremy in the last CCB.

The housemates saw what was happening so did big brother.

I can only speak for myself but if I was in Joel's position and was uncomfortable with a naked gay man harassing me then the LAST thing I would do is laugh about it and throw cushions at him.

I would leave the room and actually seek out big brother to complain.

Joel has stitched Aaron up here big time.

I agree, I wouldn't be in a bath or a room with anyone I felt intimidated by.

This is a blatant publicity stunt to drum up interest in the show. And it just makes the whole thing look even more ridiculous.

This show is an utter joke
I don't think it was that alone. Aaron had been 'baiting' Joel with days saying he must be gay because of the films and music he likes. Joel kept denying it but Aaron was on and on about it. Add that to last nights shenanigans and really Aaron stepped over the line. Any time that Aaron has been drunk he has been a mess, throwing up and having the housemates have to physically lift him into bed. What I was annoyed about was that none of the housemates told Aaron to leave Joel alone when it went on and on. I cant stand Joel but Aaron was an absolute and utter twat. I would be uncomfortable with him also in the house specially (as I have already mentioned) that Aaron had been baiting him

It was nasty vulgar and disgusting. If he did that to a woman he would expect pepper spray in the eyes.If that little pervert did that to me i would've knocked him out cold as soon as he came near me.Joel is still a teenager and has more than likely never experienced anything like that before. He looked uncomfortable and did'nt know how to deal with it.Just picture a naked man doing that to a 19 year old girl,He would be out on his ear and branded a sex pest. That bloke from Baywatch got kicked out of CBB for far less,He only touched her dressing gown. How anybody can excuse this is beyond me.

Yet Hazel wasn't thrown out for pulling Daley's pants down. And Bianca wasn't thrown out despite repeatedly exposing herself and constantly asking a disinterested Winston to have sex with her.

Seems like it is one rule for men and another for women.

I always argued that if Daley was gonna be ejected then so should Hazel for pulling his pants down.Again if a man pulled a womans knickers down he would be in an awful lot of trouble.
Bianca did'nt go as far as either of these two situations.

It really is laughable that people are trying to draw a parallel between this situation and some mythical frail, innocent 19 year old girl being brutally ravaged by some huge rugby player.

It was just aaron, a little weedy drunk gay guy, pissing about.

In some previous series it probably wouldn't have even made the highlights show.

Daley wasn't ejected for the sexual flirtations part of that night though, if he had been ejected for pulling her knickers down and she left alone for pulling his boxers off then I would totally agree that both (if anyone) should be ejected. I honestly expected that night to end in sex..was in total shock as to how it did actually end

I always find that in order to examine the situation fairly it is best to reverse roles.
Daley pulls down Hazels knickers,Hazel gets aggressive with Daley. It would be sexual assault by Daley and Hazel defending herself.Hazel should've been out too.

It certainly does in this forum, shouldn't matter what sex's were involved it was wrong. No worse or better than doing it to a women or man

Fact of the matter is if Christian did that to Jade or Ciaran did that to Chloe the entire viewership would be up in arms. Gender and orientation doesn't change the rules for sexual harassment. Regardless of it being without malicious intent these situations have to be judged by how the person being harassed felt not by the intentions of the harasser.

That american twin said she felt completely violated by Denise pulling her pants down but denise wasn't ejected.

That doesn't justify what hpened between Aaron and Joel, or any other situation. Maybe BB made a wrong call that time.
