He already thinks he is adored/loved anyway since day 3, one of the reasons why he is disliked because he is cocky. He would have been shocked anyway even if Nikki didn't say all that tbqh did you see his face when he watched a clip of the legends and Helen?

I'm not deluded thank you very much.Helen is the most vile cretin in there and is the definition of nasty. Nikki is just having fun she isn't innocent but she is just telling him what he already thinks nothing wrong with that. If she did that to Simon or anyone else then yeah it will be nasty because they don't think they are going to win and are the public's favourite. Jack already thinks he is loved tbh.
