I think the hip hop 'pals' are enjoying taking his money. He's trying to portray an inauthentic persona, because most rappers are: Mr Swag but we now know he's actually painfully insecure, sensitive, awkward, shy and reticent. If he actually incorporated his shyness into act he'd stand out and be true to who he Is.
