I normally miss the summer BB because it doesn't really interest me much. It seems this year is no exception.

I sometimes wonder why I bother watching it. But it's just something to tune into at 9pm in the autumn time.

I don't really consider it an event, like January CBB.

Glad we're getting a new eye/graphics/house design etc. I don't know if I could have lasted through another four weeks of Timebomb.

I completely agree. And it's a nice surprise when we're used to everything looking the same for the summer CBB.

I agree, think them not changing anything is what makes Summer CBB not so good sometimes.

I don't actually care if they mess with the format for CBB because they've already been paid and I care massively when they mess with the civilian format. Ironically they usually do the opposite

Is it only me that misses when the CBB houses remained unchanged from the BB house during the C4 CBB's?

I just loved how the CBB houses on C4 were simply just an upmarket version of the BB house used earlier in the summer, usually they'd just change little bits, and make it more luxurious for celebrities, like replacing the pool with a hot tub, adding a sauna, gym, and heated seats, etc. Maybe a change of colour in the DR and single beds, all of which whilst the house still looked similar to the house used the previous summer. For example, the BB5/CBB3 house, BB6/CBB4 house, and the BB7/CBB5 house.

I'd rather they didn't go through the extra effort (although I appreciate it) to have a new eye, graphics, and completely new house for CBB in January, and instead maybe consider changing the house layout every year in the summer, like C4 used to do. Instead, of changing it every 2 years.

As much as a Friday launch would be good, i'd be annoyed considering they made civillian a Tuesday, of all days

IKR. The earliest a launch should be is Wednesday, IMO. Anything before is too early in the week for my liking.

Yeah, I know it sounds stupid but it also messes up the days in which people are evicted. Like, day 8/9 looks much better than day 11/12 for a first evictee

I think a Sunday launch for CBB17 in January would actually work well and be quite good for ratings. Similar to CBB7's Sunday Launch.

I would get bored looking at the same graphics/house for 3 series in a row, I'm glad they change it for January CBB. Changing it for summer CBB is a little bit ridiculous, however I actually don't like this years graphics/eye so they can go away.

I wouldn't have minded if they kept Power Trip in January, since that series still has the best graphics of any BB series imo, but most of the time the eyes/houses get boring after like 2 months.

I think it would have been cool to have CBB15's theme in civilian series though, the theme was cute and the eye/house was pretty good too.

Same. That's why they should scrap summer CBB, and have it only in January like it's supposed to be.

Then the same house can be used without it getting stale. Also, re-watching CBB3 and CBB4 atm. I noticed C4 made tweaks to the graphics for CBB. The CBB3 graphics were completely different to the BB5 graphics for instance. I think there was even a font change for C4 as well.
