It's weird, I haven't even been watching but I'm a little disappointed to see this because I've been hearing so much about her, I always like it when the oddballs do well on shows like this

There's been another shock exit from the I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! jungle overnight, as controversial character Lady Colin Campbell has LEFT the jungle.

The aristocrat was present in camp at the end of last night's episode as hosts Ant and Dec visited to announce Chris Eubank's elimination.

However, this morning she was pictured arriving at the Palazzo Versace - the hotel contestant stay at after leaving - where she was reunited with her son Dima while flanked by security.

A brief statement from broadcaster ITV confirmed that Lady C has quit the show after nineteen days on "medical grounds", but did not elaborate on the exact circumstances.

Meanwhile, a show insider described the scene of her arrival at the hotel to The Sun. They said: "It was such a shock, nobody expected her to get out the car. Security were searching around for onlookers as they didn't want anyone to see her.

"She looked her usual chirpy self and was laughing and joking with the security guards. She was led through the hotel very quickly and taken to a private room.

"Dima was called over by producers and ran over to the car immediately. He was shocked to see her."

Bosses had already provided the Lady C with her own chair in camp for medical reasons.

As a result her departure, the public vote for tonight's elimination has been cancelled. Viewers who voted by phone will be able to claim a refund on the official I'm A Celebrity website from tomorrow.

Lady C was arguably the most entertaining celeb in this year's line-up, but has faced criticism over the past week for her growing rivalries with Duncan Bannatyne and Tony Hadley.

The 66-year-old refused to do a Bushtucker Trial after Tony and Jorgie Porter abstained from their duties in the hotel challenge, leading to a camp divide that had Kieron Dyer on the verge of walking out.

She also had an explosive rant at the Spandau Ballet singer when he criticised her for burning a beetle in the campfire, describing him as a "pretentious piece of s**t", a "misogynistic bully" and a "fat blob".

However, when she felt like completing the Trials, Lady C was a force to be reckoned with. She scored seven stars in 'Helmets of Hell' and beat rival players Jorgie and Brian Friedman in the 'Every Critter Counts' gameshow challenge.

She even ended up scoring a full house with Jorgie Porter in the 'Disaster-chef' eating trial after memorably eating disgusting dishes such as turkey testicles and camel lips with a knife and fork.Lady C is the second celebrity to leave this year's camp via the back door after Spencer Matthews, who later confessed that a steroid addiction led to his departure.I'm A Celebrity 2015 continues tonight at 8.30pm on ITV.

Lady C deserved to win. However the only winner in my eyes is Ferne.

She does everything well. Is a diplomat, a go-getter, fantastic cook. She's cheerful and sweet. And has a nice pair of legs too.

The prospect of George, Jorgie or Vicky winning is just too horrendous for words.
