That's what I've been saying too. I'm over the outdoor crowd now, they detract from my enjoyment rather than adding to it.

Indeed, they ruin every eviction with their pathetic 'off off off', 'who are ya' chanting, it sours the atmosphere, they have dreadfully hypocritical taste and I couldn't care less for them to be involved in the show any longer

I just wish C5 would control the crowd like C4 did. Didn't someone on here who went to an eviction say the warm up guy tells the crowd to make as much as noise as they can and encourage booing?

This is correct (though they guise it more as "vocalising an opinion" rather than actively saying "boo this person").

I wouldn't want the crowd to disappear though tbh - they just need to stop encouraging negative crowd reactions (i.e booing/chanting), stop letting the regulars in that start the chants/booing, tell the crowd to be quiet during interviews and start doing the eviction announcements in the studio. Lager audiences have always been a part of Big Brother and I don't want that to disappear.

I don't want the crowds to disappear either. The fact we have an outdoor set and outdoor crowd too is unique whereas all the other international editions have it indoors. One thing I love about BB in the summer is seeing it light outside at the start of eviction shows and it gradually getting darker during the live show

The 'OFF' chants are the worst and are just vile. It defeats the whole purpose of an interview as you rarely can hear the HM talk. Next time they chant a HM 'OFF' they should do just that, walk off stage and refuse to answer any questions by Emma, that will teach them to shut up and C5 a lesson to control the crowd.

I honestly think VTE plays a large part in making the show more hateful too. The last civilian series where there wasn't a "Get ____ Out" chant every single week was BB13, and that may be partly because you were rooting for people to stay in on eviction nights rather than wanting someone to go (e.g. people wanted Arron/Conor gone in the ABCD eviction, but were more bothered about Deana staying - and she ended up topping the vote, getting cheers etc.)

I know I look like I'm reaching but I do feel that VTE brings more negativity to the show

There's no reaching at all, you're absolutely right that it does - it's a negative voting system, it festers ill-feeling towards housemates and encourages hatred. All of this of course leads to disastrous results because people vote with their hearts and not heads for people whom they dislike (usually those who've actually spoke) and it's just awful all round

Just another reason why it's a terrible voting system

VTE is what BBUK and CBB were always decided on, the saying "who goes, you decide" tells you that.

I am in a minority that HATES VTS

VTE is only good for head to head evictions. If it's more than that then someone can get evicted even if most votes are for other housemates which is silly imho!

Well if they're gonna do VTE they need to stop having so many nominees. 2-3 is ideal imho.

Yes that tradition being that the public destroys the series by evicting nearly all of the good housemates by 2/3 of the way through!

I honestly do not understand how people can support C5's deliberate split of VTE for civilian and VTS for CBB, it's pathetic. They need to pick a system and stick to it, all they're doing is keeping CBB afloat cause they've paid out loads of money for certain celebs but driving the civilian series into the ground and making the axe imminent, people need to stop supporting this

This tbh.

If there's 3+ up it should always be VTS imo

IMO....

2 way evictions- VTE

Anymore than 2- VTS.

I personally can't stand an Evict vote when there's lots of people up.

My guess is that they'll dress it up with some LED lighting strips (similar to what they had on the stands).

Well it is still under construction so I highly doubt they'll just leave it black like that.

The big building on the right - the small building on the left is the eviction studio.
