BOTS in its present form should be axed. It has grown from a great little show into an ugly monster. I don't watch BOTS just because Rylan hosts it - although I can't stand him.

I don't watch it also because it's a bag of s***.

It's all about Rylan, his friends and the gruesome audience.

Ditch the damn thing and bring back a little evening programme like wot Dermot used to front. A guy and his clipboard.

This will leave more money for live feed, clips and tweet updates.

Also scrap Rylan's crap chat show.

Reluctantly, I'm finding myself agreeing with you. I liked Rylan and wanted to give him a chance at the start, but the BBBOTS format is dreadful, now, with the ghastly audience being encouraged to go rabid by wrangler Rylan.

they both mutve gotten a lot of blowback from the debacle of a live show/reveal etc...the whole series has been a mess. starting with letting both houses out in the yard at the same time. thus spoiling the secret house by the second day

The content this year hasn't even been that bad people are just moaning for the sake of it now. This year is a massive improvement on last year. And the twist may of be a bit of a flop but it is a LOT better than the past c5 twists and it's somewhat original. Personally in terms of aethetic, content and cast endemol have done a decent job.

Agree but the website updates were **** compared to last year, but they seem to have improved today

Because the same problems that existed last year, exist this year, only with less live coverage, an even worse website and even more **** ups in the first week.

This year is a massive improvement on last year.

The housemates might be, the level of production isn't.

And the twist may of be a bit of a flop but it is a LOT better than the past c5 twists and it's somewhat original.

It's like the halfway house from BB8. Only even worse. And at least back then we had some sense of what was going on. And there was still a 24/7 live feed that allowed us to enjoy whatever was fun about the housemates, which we've never been able to do with channel 5

Like the live tweets were **** and meaningless but it's the principle of them existing if we aren't going to be given live feed. C5 are clearly just hellbent on ensuring they have editorial control and can do whatever they want with the show and thankfully Endemol seem to be on the fans side and understand that's not what Big Brother is meant to be about

Yeah I'm not arguing again that this is the first year since bb13 that I've actually wanted live feed to come back.

I do like Rylan but he should never ever be allowed to helm a TV show by himself, he's far too grating and one-note. He's great for little features and interviews but as a crowd-motivator and regular host he's unbearable. Only times I enjoy BOTS now are if there's someone else in (Bianca del Rio, the Homes under the Hammer guys) doing a lengthy segment that takes up his time.
