It's a domino effect. Once one drops, so will several others week after week as is what usually happens. That's what I meant by the 'starting' comment, the series will not be over with his eviction as there are plenty of other great housemates in this cast, but once again on BBUK it'll begin the decline. Quote me and see |

Until the 'characters' start going one after the other I don't see your point no matter how long winded you word it.
I wouldn't personally call Marco a character, just a drain - after he goes I won't have to be repulsed by him and Laura prancing around half naked and hear him irritating laugh any longer. There are far better characters getting a barely there edit in favour of him. Clearly we find entertainment in different things this series because I don't find Marco interesting or or even fun to loath.

They will start going one after another because they do almost every series. Like I said, quote me and see
![]() You may find him a drain, but by definition he is a character. Most of the discussions on these forums and on social media this series have revolved around him. That is a good thing and one which shouldn't be discouraged. And if there were far better characters in there, they would be getting an edit! You can't say things like that when all we have to go off is the edit itself, we don't have live feed anymore so it's impossible for anyone to speculate on such things You are letting your personal dislike of him (which I can understand, I'm not saying I like him as a person but there's a difference between people and housemates) get in the way of the logical argument that he should stay for the benefit of the series |

People like Alex, Jackson etc have no impact on my enjoyment of the show, whereas Marco has a negative impact on my enjoyment on the show. Therefore the logical decision is to evict the one who is making me enjoy the show less, rather than evicting the one who will have no impact on whether I'm enjoying the show or not.

We shall see, but as I keep saying quote me and watch. It happens almost every year and will likely this series too, I'd be amazed if it didn't Quote:
happens every year and people are always bemused as to why it got so boring, but fail to recognise it's often partly their fault Quote:
The number of people who would stop watching this series because of Marco is extremely low. The number of people who may end up hearing about this series and consider watching because of Marco is higher. And that's because he's a divisive character that sparks discussion which in turn gets the show more attention. The same would not be true of a housemate like Alex or Evelyn, again the number of people who'd stop watching because of them is little if not non-existent, but the number of people who would consider watching because of them is - at present - zero. It is better to have a strong, hateful opinion on a housemate than none at all. Without these housemates, the show would fall flat on its face (which it often does when several of them leave in succession) and it's just detrimental to its success and indeed future. No idea why any fan of Big Brother would want to sign off on that tbh Quote:
Without housemates like Marco we would not have anything to talk about. And a show like Big Brother thrives off discussion on forums like these, on social media and in real life. No divisive and big characters, no discussion, no show. |

And Vote to Save is also a selfish voting method so I don't get that point either. And I disagree, if I have a bad opinion on someone, I'd much rather that person be removed from the show completely so I can enjoy the show more positively, rather than removing someone who will not affect how much or how little I enjoy the series at all. The person ruining my enjoyment would still be in and that would be pointless as it would just encourage me more to switch off.
