This is what the producers actually want, they want a controversial marmite character and a marmite beige character as a final 2 as it creates a vote frenzy of "good v evil", it happens more often than not now as it gets those phone lines ringing and the vote money rolling in.

The VTS has a lot to do with it, we can't vote to evict those we want to so choose an opposite character to save.

I agree that it's a protest vote. The reality "stars" are ruining the show, with their lousy acting skills, showmances, idiot scenarios, and soft porn. Marnie faking a nervous breakdown because Lewis left, and OMG, she won't see him for six days, and the women crowding around, pretending to believe she was grieving, was an insult to our intelligence. A little bit of "let's pretend" can be fun, but not the all-out witless performances of people like Bear.
