What do we expect from Renee the crazy monkey mobster and Aubrey, who looks like a Nazi at the opening of the Ark of the Covenant (re - Raiders of...nm)

I hope Renee's remark about somebody teaching Bear a good lesson isn't a....threat! We might need witnesses.

Oh, no! Is this yet another word that it's no longer PC to use in case it offends someone?

I realise it's an emotive word for people who have been touched by the disease - (that's probably most of us) - and not to be used lightly, but it's legitimate and, in this context, absolutely appropriate.

Talking of disease, Aubrey's voice sounds like the nasal whine of a zika mosquito. The Pentagon should develop it into a sonic weapon.

Yes. When she described him as "a pebble in a piece of gum" on her shoe, she probably meant to say "turd"!

It doesn't bother me personally. I get why it could be offensive, but I wonder if that's because of less familiarity with hearing it being used in that context rather than because of different levels of experience of dealing with the disease? (a genuine wondering, I'm not assuming other peoples experience)... I just know in my own experience that I've dealt with the disease with 2 close family members and a close friend (who was only 25 when she was diagnosed and it was one of the most horrific experiences I've been through) and thinking of it is really upsetting, but when I hear the term used in this context it doesn't remind me of that. Hopefully that doesn't make me a sociopath or something but I think it's just because the metaphor use of it is totally separate in my mind.

The term cancer is a very tough term for anyone to hear when they are diagnosed as having it. Only with regard to the star sign should it be ever used otherwise. Sorry girls the man you want to cut out of society will beat BOTH of you in the final. I dont even like Bear but these high and mighty bitches think they are so perfect and above everyone well they ARENT. They can high tail it home and hopefully we will never hear from them again.

We have all lost dearly loved people because of cancer and some of us are facing it in our lives.
I agree, it was really low as was the false statements of Renee as to it too.

She strongly pointed out she did not mean Bear personally, then to Aubrey she said she did mean him directly.

However again, she then when making up with Bear statement she never meant it directed at him.
So much for her word being her bond then.

It was sick in my view, really sick.
Had he said that to her or Aubrey, he would be being near hung drawn and quartered on here.

I think she feels such contempt for Bear that she feels he's not worthy of the truth.

This is mainly as it is directed at a housemate they dislike though, IF it had been the other way around there would be calls for his head on a platter for being so offensive and disrespectful. Equally if Bear had said it a few who are appalled would be laughing. On season is ****ing weird and distorts all normal views to a lot of people

Having said this, my mother had (no longer has ) cancer a few years back and I didn't find it offensive. Slightly tasteless, but not offensive. I think she knew she had gone too far though after she denied it TO him at the end of the show, despite expanding on it to Aubrey in the bedroom hours earlier.

If you are referring to me as a crybaby that inhabits the uk that is a lousy insult. Im a grown woman that the word 'cancer' brings back bad memories of lost loved ones. I didnt think the term cancer was right to be used against another human being . I think calling someone a cancer isnt right. I am entitled to post what I want and everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

I absolutely cannot ABIDE Bear so its not as if Im a fan. And I DONT live in the UK

I am with you 100% on this Riona. It's a dreadful disease and causes a great deal of suffering. It's a terrible thing to say to or about anyone. Lowest of the low.

I've lost family and friends to cancer and I find that it's completely acceptable

I'm not overly sensitive so maybe that's something to do with it, or maybe because the word 'cancer' doesn't just mean the disease. I don't know, though. Regardless, worse things have been said, and people are grasping at straws - which is understandable, it's hard to justify anything Bear does, so instead they twist things to make him the victim.

What if Bear had called Renee 'the worst type of cancer'?

What would her reaction be?

For all his antagonising idiot behaviour, he has never taken it to that level
