because it gets on some peoples tits when colour comes into it, like it or not some coloured people have chips on their shoulder about colour and bring the subject up themselves, even that black bloke on BBots said she shouldn't have done that

This is so problematic, you are basically saying 'it's okay for me to generalise like this because one black person on BBOTS thinks it too!'

Why shouldn't she have brought it up? It was fine for Rebecca to mention the R-word a few days ago but Hannah and Deborah can't do so without damnation and accusations of the race card? You are an example of what's wrong with society and why issues of race will never be resolved while attitudes like yours exist. Too many white people are quick to shut down discussions of race unless it's on their terms.

what a load of tosh, if many peoples attitudes were like mine no one would see colour so please don't patronise me, if you knew me personally you wouldn't be saying this about me. What is wrong with society is black people as well as white people seeing colour. I saw the man on BBots colour because he talked about it!

People who say 'I don't see colour' are part of the problem. They aren't progressive by saying so, they are just trying to ignore the problem. Saying 'I don't see colour' doesn't make the issue of imbalance of perception between races disappear.

But how would you know what experiences a black person has in everyday life? Just because you don't personally see it doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

....if Sukhvinder called Rebecca aggressive she wouldnt call out Sukhvnder for being racist...it works both ways. Why does the race card only ever come up when black/Asian people are called out for something. White people are a race but I have never seen them use that card when they are being shouted at.

Tbf, has anybody else been called aggressive during an argument apart from Hannah/Deborah?

I don't remember Sukh being called aggressive during any of her arguments, nor Kayleigh when she went off at Arthur that time. Mind you there's been like 100 arguments this series so I've probably forgotten.

Literally the moment any black girl gets upset on this show they are labeled as grumpy and aggressive but lets just ignore that to stop white viewers from feeling uncomfortable...

I probably would have called her behaviour aggressive, same as i have done for a few other housemates this series, Kieran included and he's white.. imagine being accused of being a racist for that though? There was never enough in that for her to pull out the race card

This is a great point.

Tom and Keiran have both been called aggressive.

By people on here though, not the housemates.

I consider most people on here to be pretty woke

That's the thing though, she never called anyone racist. She said as a black girl she's more likely to be stereotyped as aggressive than the other girls in the house, which is true.
