You'd assume if it's that Kachisuke-Onna character, the killer will be female and the survivor male (ie. someone she asks "am I pretty?" to)

Apparently the mask in the video is a female demon mask. The video suggesting that the samurai is the killer is a red herring i think. Apparently the scroll has a very grudge sounding quote about hatred too.

I am sick of killers camping people on hooks it is the worst just standing right next to them waiting. There should be a penalty for it like a points countdown.

The penalty for facecamping is that every other survivor will escape and the killer will only get one kill at best.

The new chapter is being unveiled on Tuesday, it seems. This means that a new killer, survivor and a map will be released a week or two later on PCs (with the consoles following behind shortly after that).

Also the developers had a stream yesterday in which they confirmed they are working on new modes.

I don't get how anyone is supposed to play this . I tried like 2 games as survivor and died within a minute, which is fine, I get that it takes more than 2 games to get half decent at anything, BUT it also takes like 5 - 10 minutes of wait time to get into a game . Just no.

That's odd, if you're playing on your own then games should basically be instant. There's some issues at times with Survive with Friends though where it can take a while to find a game.

The best advice I can give you as a survivor would be to remember that the killer's view is limited, it's easy to spot movement but more difficult to see someone that is still and crouching. It's very possible for a lot of characters to camouflage themselves into their surroundings.

Another bit of advice would be that, if you're being chased, avoid running in a straight line for too long, almost every killer is faster than the survivors so they'll gain ground on long straight runs. Remember where the palettes and windows are and keep turning and breaking line of sight with the killer.

Out today. Looks cool af and there's loads of good new cosmetics. Heard he's a little ineffective as a killer but the whole vibe around this chapter is really interesting and fresh to me.

He's out on steam and while it's a nice idea I found him pretty hard to play, I think it takes 3 stabs on frenzy to down a survivor and it encourages you to chase more than 1 survivor in frenzy mode.

Freddy is easy for the most part, especially if you have self care. If you fail a skill check you'll wake up.

Once you realise that it takes ages for him to pull you into the dream world and that he can't do anything to you until you're in then he becomes way less threatening.

Like, he can't actually stop people from unhooking other survivors because they'll be there and gone before he can grab them.

He's intimidating until you realise how weak he actually is and then you just feel sorry for him.
