and we shouldn't give up on BB so soon, cause where channel 5 gives up, we still have Netflix/Amazon as potential last resort channels anyway

Why does this thread exist? The show hasn't been cancelled,the contract is renewed until 2022 so surely it's just leaving Ch5 for a better channel?

The show has indeed been cancelled? Endemol renewed the house contract so that if another channel does decide to take on the show, they already have a purpose built house and stage to use. If they did not extend the rights to the house, they would lose the house and having to build a new one would make the show even less appealing to other broadcasters.
