You can just provide id but the pass is available if people don't want their personal information linked to accessing porn in case it's then leaked or hacked

The larger reputable ones don't keep logs in the first place, guaranteed contractually, meaning you can sue them if they did share any information. And also if they shared any log it would literally destroy their business over night as they would lose every single customer.

Frankly the suggestion that one should trust a UK based ISP with sensitive data over a reputable VPN is insanity.
