I think she owes it to her gradual success, unlike people like other artists who blow up when they first come out now don't have the same amount of success as they initially did, whereas when Taylor first brought out Taylor Swift and Fearless she was only really known in the states, then Love Story was he first international hit, then it went quiet again with Speak Now (although still hugely successful in the US), but then when she released Red it sort of changed everything for her and she blew up globally. Now she has probably has the best marketing strategy out of all the pop chicks, try watching a YouTube video without the whole of the ME! music video being an ad at the beginning, all she has to do is release a catchy bop and it will be hugely successful.

Yeah I think this is part of it. To my mind she only had a small handful of huge songs in the UK before 2014. Can’t speak for the rest of the world

Eh I wouldn’t even put it down to that, maybe in 2012/2014 with Red and 1989 but even then you’d argue that after a peak comes a trough, but there just hasn’t been one with her, she’s had three albums open with million + weeks in the US and clearly those new song shows no sign of her or her brand slowing down.
