Hmm I'm not convinced that this #tradwife thing is really about women just choosing to be a stay at home wife/mother though. The intent seems to be to have a go at anyone who ISN'T doing that.

Stay at home mother/father is the term used more widely these days, housewife sounds a bit odd, like you're married to your house
