A shame because she’s always came across as a really nice person and she is very talented. If it’s the best thing for her mental health then I think she is making the correct decision, since she has had quite a lot of abuse online over the years. ...this is nothing about their music though, is it...It’s what social media has been for Jesy personally and how damaging to her emotionally and the criticism of her has been relentless and all attacking her physical appearance, I mean I can’t imagine to have endured that day in and day out with the persistency she’s had to...so a decision that would have to have come for her own well being and mental health .....I just watched the beginning of The Odd One Out because it feels like a difficult watch, but I’ll pick up and finish it later...

Yeah I haven't watched that before, I know it won a couple of awards though and raised good issues. Hopefully she'll be OK; the pressure they were under to release continual new albums and singles must have been exhausting.

...yeah, because obviously social media was kind of a ‘job requirement’ as well...that the girls had to be active on social media for their fan base...but we know it’s also such a place of toxicity..and for her not to be able to have any refuge from that and the persistent references of things like ‘the fat, ugly one’...just totally nibbling away at and stripping away any self confidence that she had...I would say that she stepped back and took her break and cleared her head to see that it can’t be something that she should go back to...and I know she has great fans so they’ll support that...but will obviously miss her...
