What made me smile was in the warning, they included that there was an increased threat to life because more people would go swimming in dodgy places, which is a bit of a stretch

no heat today here, thankfully few calm days before the madness of monday, tuesday and wednesday next week

using this to my optimal advantage of getting my ps4 external game drive installed and ready, i never like doing such stressful things which you need to concentrate a lot with and i cannot concentrate well with hot weather

any garden work like cutting old lavender flowers i have postponed until most of this vile hot weather is behind us

in countries like spain and portugal, their houses are designed to dissipate heat. Our houses are designed to retain it, thats why its different for us here

A mother has warned parents to be careful when children are enjoying the hot weather, after her 10-year-old son was badly sunburnt.

Rhian Wyn Lane said her son Owi was playing in a paddling pool and wearing sun cream all day.

Welcome to global warming.

It will get worse over the years, harsher winters, harsher summers.

Just mad to think this requires a 'RED' warning. This country really can't deal with s hit

can get away from it.
Then Nicky's point was a bit daft

Well not really when ice caps are melting and it effects whole planet, but in the sense of the heat, yeah I probably will avoid

Not necessarily, anyone can edit Wikipedia. It's not a reliable source and never has been

Not necessarily, anyone can edit Wikipedia. It's not a reliable source and never has been
not everyone can edit wikipedia though, there are mods on that, and anything without proper and valid sources gets removed

wikipedia is like modern days Encarta

and as if i'm against our climate, our nature, i do my personal share of having a lot of green in our garden, we got a lot of good drinking and bathing places for the wild birds, one with a fountain so moving fresh water, and one pond in my section, which i also refresh once every 2 or 3 weeks depending on how long it takes till it gets dirty

also Africa gets a lot greener too what we see some places, some places there too get more rain than before, apart from Sahara Desert of course but nothing lives there
