Not a Marcello fan but that was a funny comment But anyway, I'm thinking having a feud with Ali is likely to be a plus in the house as it seems to make her targets more popular with the public. I'm really disliking her but she's been giving us a lot of story lines too so she can stay for a bit

It's a tricky one for me. I've gone back and forth with Ali, I liked her in the beginning and then she kind of rubbed me the wrong way during the Khaled drama as I felt she was unfair and too harsh on him. But when it comes to the Marcello thing, I actually do see her point. I'm not a prude by any means, but I also think that Marcello can just be disrespectful and rude with his comments. Although I thought her comments about being struck off the register were bullshit, I did quite admire that she didn't just back down when he approached her about it. She had valid points on this topic and Marcello needs to hear it.

…yeah, similar for me in that I’ve swayed back and forth with Ali and for a few days she seemed to have lost her sparkle a bit, in that she she seemed more ‘switched off’ from enjoying her experience…it might be that she sometimes makes reasonable points but sadly for me, she seems to be making them in an unreasonable way….I do think Marcello also should consider ‘his audience’ in some situations…but what Ali does for me in the way she addresses things…?…is she takes all focus away from any action or words of a housemate that might indeed feel inappropriate …?…and she places that focus back on herself in her own part …

Yeah, she makes it all about her being correct, she doesn't listen to people at all and that is surely a bad quality in a psychologist. Just listening to her in that live feed audio that was posted and when she's talking about Khaled it's all about how she's right and how she can read him and predict his behaviours etc

…I was just watching the Sneak Peek again…’are you done/cool/bye…’…as quick and blunt as that and without intending any pause to allow a voice from Khaled…?…that so made me think of a (..an awful…)…head teacher saying, ok our conversation is over until you tell me what I want you to…please go now….

You make some fair points though we have to remember that they are in unbelievably stressful situation and every sense is heightened beyond our comprehension .
They are all arguably overreacting or unpredictably ..

Even if people think Marcello is crude & pushes boundaries,it was NOT only him in that conversation. All he actually said was he's gone such and such without "sex" , then Dean interjected and then Rosie actually took it to a more vulgar stage by mentioning doing stuff in the shower etc.

But of course Ali only puts the blame on Marcello, completely ignoring others were involved in the conversation.

She brought her whole ass profession into the argument which was irrelevant. Maybe she should think about Lily's job and grossness when she gets given a cup of tea by Lily ...as that's more relevant.

She wanted Marcello to feel bad and in the wrong, she only touched on the group's participation as a general thing....she still focused more on Marcello, despite the fact Rosie was pushing it further.

Ali even mentioned it to Rosie afterwards and if it was only Marcello talking dirty stuff, and as I predicted Rosie just nodded along...instead of owning up to her part in the sex discussion. They're all hypocrites.

And as others have said Ali is inconsistent as hell.

That isn't the order in which it happened. She objected to the conversation, to the group, saying her parents and their parents were watching... Marcello then said he was a human ejaculator...Ali mentioned her job, Marcello said he didn't know she was being serious...everyone was quiet, Marcello made a face and dismissively waved his hand as if she was being unreasonable... Ali asked him not to make a face and explained why she'd asked.

She concentrated in on Marcello later because he pulled her aside and said she was being unreasonable by objecting to sit through conversations of him talking about him masturbating. She hasn't had an issue with anyone else who was speaking vulgar because she respected her wishes, not argued them.

And I think we should also consider that Marcello has been making lewd comments for a while now, she's probably at the end of her tether with him.

She makes everything about herself, she was not the only person on that couch. Her winning HOH is just going to give her more attention & validation, she actually thinks the housemates wanted her as HOH, but it's not as simple as that .
