It's hard to say what you'd do now as things happen in the heat of the moment. If I was home alone and was confronted I'd think even though I'm 19 and 6"2, I'd kick him in the balls first and ,if needed, fight him off afterwards. If i heard someone in the house, My priority would be to get out of the house and then ring the police.
