Yes bang on Right
NewLabour, in power, and the Yanks

Thats why this thread can be good.
mahaha when I disagree with you I'm a trouble maker but when turtle man agrees with you, you get excited. Is ukturtle the first ever to agree with you? hehe
guys we could be here all week discussing politics.

But this thread is not about that. Lets get back on topic and talk about £1 food which is value for money.

Arctic Roll is only £1 at Iceland. I love that dessert. Reminds me of being a kid.
is that what you think your doing lol......

erm yes.

For vegetables and some fruit the man who lives down the road grows his own with his wife and they have nore than they need for themselves so they let me have some. It's amazing, tastes great and is free. i offered them some money, but they were like, no it'll only be wasted.

Bless them. Now that is VALUE food!

sorry... how did labour cause it?

by tying so much of our nations money into the US market. When the Morgtage company went down so did a lot of UK finances.
? you is wrong.... :P
private commercial business took out unsecured loans that they believed were more reliable than the were. How's that the problem of the UK government. Should the labour party decide on how companies in the UK invest their money and who they loan money from? So again... how is the INTERNATIONAL financial crisis the fault of the labour government?
now answer this turtle guy :P

in the correct thread i will.

When was the last time you seen a curry in a fridge at the supermarket?

It also says suitable for freezing which is what I imagine most people do until they use it

A box of 6 eggs are value. And under £1. You can make so much from them, and add them to loads of stuff to bump up a meal.

I'm still munching on my eggy bread (it's so good).

I alway cook a meal so I make too much, then I feeze what I don't eat, so I have a couple of meals for next time.

I don't personally rave about microwave dinners and such. I much prefer my fresh veg (no tinned or frozen stuff) and fresh foods.

But I do buy some frozen stuff llike fish fingers! MMMMMm!

Chips and wedges I make my own from Potatoes and I leave the skins on. So much nicer.

I'm a BIG food lover. Some of my family are Italian and Scottish so a big appetite is essential, lol as well as appreciation for food. (I cannot stand wasting food!)

Potatoes are under a pound. So that makes them value food and you can make a meal out of them.

Whatever.

Back on topic.

I just remembered that tesco have started reducing loads of stuff to £1 too to try and win the price wars against Asda etc.

I'm off there in a bit to see what bargains I can pick up.

That impressive with the prices these days,

we shop at asda and for 4 of us it can be anything from 90 - 140 pound a week.

But then some weeks we spend like 14 pound on slim fast at that and we buy loads of meat..

He made a point about the labour party being one of the reasons for the financial crisis. Apparently he was ON topic then.... now that I ask him to explain his views my question is now OFF topic. Dude this isn't a game... either he knows what he's talking about or he doesn't. He sounds like he doesn't given that the labour party don't control how UK investment banks buy and on-sell debt. Turtle your clearly out of your depth.... next time mate if you have an opinion and you post it on a forum... don't be a pussy and cry "off topic".
