I think Tupac's image has been ruined through no fault of his own because along with Bob Marley, another legend of an artist, he has become one of the poster boys of the chav culture. But really, most of these thick fuckers have only heared the admittedly great commercial single Ghetto Gospel.

I've never listened to Tupac's music, but people have talked about him a few times at school and they've talked about how he never stood out and merged into the background as he was just considered "another black rapper" and therefore didn't receive enough acknowledgment for his work as he just fit into the black rapper stereotype. I don't know if his fans would agree but..

Correction, she sang on a studio album. I doubt she was very much involved in the production or the creative writting, not that their was much.

But Stars are blind is often over looked, and as Lady Gaga said...it was an amazing pop song - yet a lot of people haven't heard it or some of her singles, so in my opinion, she is very under-rated for her singing, therefore an under-rated artist.

And she did have a lot to do with the production of the album

I think he stood out but he stood out a lot more after his death
He only reached a slither off his life potiental though he was only active from 1990-1996 With over 75 million albums sold He is the highest selling rap artist of all-time. With very few updates on his sales, new albums still being released and the continued sales of his prior albums,

Just because a lot of people have not heard something does not mean that 'thing' is good. What is so special about Paris Hilton as a singer? She has an amazingly weak voice. Even on Stars Are Blind. Absoloutely nothing remarkable whatsoever about her. She is just a spoilt brat with the emotional depth of a zebra giving birth to a lump of shit. And because of who she is, not what she has become, and not what she has done, she landed a nice little record deal. If she can be an artist, anybody can. It strips away so much of the prestige and what is so special.

Different opinions, but i do think that she is under-rated for her singing, she's just as good as other pop singers out there...
