yaeh there will be another more greatful channel but to me channel 4 is the home of BB, channel 4 push tv boundaries e.e ******s and tourettes and blind contestants ans race rows (their pushing the fans limits now aswell) but i dont want it to get to the stage where it needs a new channel or needs to be axed....i do want it to rest next year (and i am a massive BB fan so im not turning my back on it) and i would like a massive revivel of the show 3 years later

i know capitals isnt allowed but for the sake of this show to get it through its st week

TEXT PEOPLE NOW AND GET THEM TO WATCH, HELP THAT OLD LAdY DOWN THE ROAD THEN TURN AROUND AND SAY "ALLRIGHT LOVE, I HELPE YOU CROSS THE STREET NOW ATCH BB TONIGHT OR YOUR ZIMMER FRAME GETS IT"lol

People get carried away too easily..
Endemol can't pull the show. Their job is to produce a show on the terms of C4.
C4 are above Endemol therefore they make the decisions
It is highly unlikely that it will get axed mid-series, at the most it would be moved to the 11pm slot if ratings got so bad
But I wouldn't bet against BB10 being the last to air on C4.

First of all, even if Endemol wanted to "walk" they can't. C4 own the right until the end of next year. And after then, I don't think any other station will want BB.
Finally someine here talks sense about it. They can't axe it mid-series and won't until BB11 is over. How complicated is that to understand ?

quite easy to undertsand but a legally binding document can be broken, channel 4 would face a fine from endemol if they pulled out and vice versa foe endemol

T.o.s.s.e.r.s
where have you heard it,I havent read anything about bb Ive just been watching, why is it even aparantly getting axed?
Insiders on DS and Jacob on IBB firstly said "Its very bad news guys" then on DS someone put "So no red button" and the response was "Worse than that". So what could that mean?
As Blonde pointed out it wasn't "Axing"

Oh and technically Endemol can pull out as CH4 are in breach of contract...

The remit clearly states that C4 must "BROADCAST (not "film") the HMs, around the clock 24/7"

How do they get around that? "Well, we are broadcasting it... To one another in the editing suite..." ??

Thank you

But if it truly is a loophole, one would think Endemol would have fed it to C4 first. Wouldn't they have?

That is not the case at all, as if it was C4 would have broken the contract a long time ago.

Alos, BB is aired around the wold and not all of the countries air streaming 24/7 - some don't air it at all.

The point of BB is people living in the house being filmed 24/7 under the eye of BB.

Also, C4 are doing streaming. It airs every night and early mornings. This was the most watched live-feed and this is why they kept it.

We have it better than a lot of other BB's around the world, especially with BBLB and BBBM as well.

BBUK is one of the most famous and popular BB's around the world, and Endemol would not want to get rid of it. It is unlikely that any other station would pick up BB after next year so I think Endemol will make C4 a pretty good offer.

It's not going to be axed mid series, It's been stated in many threads that there's contracts in place. In Endemol or Channel 4 walk away then they have to pay a huge sum to the other party. Once the series ends then it's fair game, Endemol could buy their way out but they can't while they're selling their services to Channel 4. That's breach of contract.

maybe, but thats what makes up britain now, its not just british people that live her now, its a total mix
It doesn`t bother me much really where the housemates are from,I know its ment to be bbuk but does it really matter? As long as we have a good showIts not like there are no British hms.

You dont see america or austrillia letting foreigners in, BB UK is too soft now and Jade Goody ruined it end off.
I couldnt care less if shes dead, and Tbh if it ends on Sunday I Will accually burn stuff and just stay off school..

Sit and Drink Lucozade because they sponsored BB and just give up on life

Ratings are sh*t, thats why they'll axe it, not just because of live feed moaners

But if it does get axed mid way through I don't think any other company will take it on because who wants to be lumbered with a show that never even finished its last run?
Surely from whats been said, Endemol said they will axe it if they don't reinstate Live Feed so if theres no live feed then its going to be axed - meaning it depends on live feed no ratings?
But if noone had complained they would have figured that something was wrong
