We get a lot of silly comments and questions like "what's so great about being welsh" especially from English people. Hear it a lot when England fans come for match days at the stadium. It's funny - never hear it from Irish, Scottish, other europeans..

Not all english people of course. I love england myself and have met just as many great english people but I understand why there's so much anti-english feeling in Wales. R.

You think the Welsh come across as uncaring because they're proud of being Welsh? I think the opposite is true tbh, from any experiences I've had with Welsh people on a personal level or from seeing how fans of their sports behave internationally, the fact that they're proud of being Welsh makes them a more friendly, welcoming and caring bunch

You only have to look at the behaviour of us compared to the English during the Euros in France. Shocking reports about the behaviour of English fans. The welsh were a huge hit in France. I was there and heard nothing but compliments about our people.

Being patriotic doesn't equate to being uncaring. Equally, those coming to match days in the capital that I've met have had nothing but nice things to say about our hospitality. R.

I met many an irish fan in Paris and Bordeaux! In fact I was in a Scottish pub in Paris where I met a lovely irish couple. We swore to keep in contact but sadly haven't... R.

why? It's a fact that people come from different countries and will have different ways etc

Also, in the example I gave I being Welsh has a lot to do with why they're a particularly hospitable bunch
