We'll see how far Villa have come under Lambert tomorrow, this game last year they threw away a two goal lead to lose the game, it's a big test of their character to make sure they don't crumble again.

United are under pressure, and are desperate, so this is a great chance for Villa.

He should be alright, he's got them pretty solid, just needs someone to stick the ball in the net for him, he had Kevin Davies doing it regularly for him at Bolton, Maybe Carroll could be the man when he's fit.

Yeah it's the main problem really, think we've got a solid defence with the likes of Reid (when he's back) and Rat in the back four, Noble and Ravel are great and got some good wingers in the likes of Downing and Jarvis. Trouble is Carroll is a bloody nightmare with this injury, not sure he'll ever be consistently fully fit again, and then we're just scrambling around hoping for goals.. Need activity in January
