Hypocrisy would be if someone who emigrated to the UK then went on to say that the UK should stop all immigration, which isn't what Vanessa is saying.

She's Italian yeah , But i'm pretty sure if there was a sudden wave of Mafia gangs arriving in the UK and committing crimes from e.g Italy itself.... she'd also have concerns. But that doesn't mean she'd want Italy blacklisted or whatever the term is when a country is seen as a ' high risk warning ' . That's still her home.

The fact is multiculturalism is a great thing , like I said in the other thread ...many of us are from different cultures & backgrounds and Britain is very diverse. So it would be ignorant and silly to say we hate it or are against it.

The situation is more to it than that , and it gets more complicated ... especially when the argument is usually about ' illegal immigration' and not immigration in general. Plenty have come here from all over the world and integrated into the community just fine ,but when we question why some aren't integrating or why crime has gone up then we're the bad people ? .

Just for the record ( I already made this point but I'll make it again) , the 18 year old who brutally killed those kids the other day ... could be any race and any religion and I would still treat him the same way.

People wanted answers. Not everyone is a mindless yob who goes out rioting for the sake of it.

White,black , Asian and others commit crimes, there's no denying that .
