Had them on the ropes after we scored, a shame Suarez was having an off day otherwise I think we can all agree we'd have won 3-2.

A loss is a loss but it was encouraging at least. Great to see Sturridge score and Borini finally return aswell

Get in United. Liverpool were much better in the second half and it was tense.

I sense that Luis Suarez will enjoy playing with Daniel Sturridge now he has more support and less pressure to get the majority of goals.

Glad there was no big controversy in this match after the Suarez/Evra thing, which can hopefully be drawed a line under now and everyone can move on.

We Made Suarez invisible pretty much. Our defence was solid, Carrick was superb, Welbeck worked endlessly and Robin took his chance the only way the league's best striker should. Evra with a better attacking display than Suarez
