Tbh in some ways it proves to be the correct decision, some have been wrong before.. after what happens to India it's correct her mom should know and arrive, the actress who plays India's mother is the mom of the actress who plays Texas in RL.

Hollyoaks star Stephanie Waring has hinted that her character Cindy Longford will be back to her bitchy ways when she makes a comeback in the New Year.

The actress returns to filming at the Channel 4 soap in January after taking time off for maternity leave.

Waring gave birth to her second daughter Lexi Grace in September. In the same month, fans saw Cindy leave the village for an extended honeymoon after marrying 72-year-old millionaire Alistair.

Writing on Twitter on Friday, Waring revealed: "Eeek got my scripts through this morning! Can't believe how fast my time off has gone! Looking forward to going back!"

The star said that there is "lots of comedy" in store for Cindy, who tied the knot with Alistair for his money alone.

She later added: "Everyone is going to love to hate Cindy! The bitch is back!"

Waring has been part of the Hollyoaks cast on and off since 1996.

Darren Day has named his new role in Hollyoaks as the best of his career to date.

The theatre actor was cast in the Channel 4 soap earlier this year, taking on the part of the dangerous gangster Danny Houston.

Danny first arrived in the village in October after becoming the silent partner in local nightclub Chez Chez. He later had a brief fling with Jacqui McQueen (Claire Cooper) before she dumped him for Rhys Ashworth (Andy Moss), which left Danny promising some sinister revenge.

Speaking on Lorraine this morning, Day explained: "It's so much more fun to play the bad guy, as opposed to many years making a living out of playing the romantic leads in musicals and stuff. That gave me a career - but the bad guy is so much more fun!"

He continued: "I think you get to a certain age as a guy when more interesting parts come along. This is certainly the most interesting part that I've had."

Danny, Jacqui and Rhys all take centre stage in an after-dark special titled 'King of Hearts' on Wednesday night, which sees Danny try to get even with the pair.

Discussing the late-night episode, Day added: "We can get away with some things that we can't do at 6.30pm. It's on at 10pm on Wednesday night. I saw it on Friday and it looks like a mini-movie. It's really exciting to be involved with. And he's a great character and so much fun to play."

Hollyoaks' new recruit Craig Vye has insisted that his character Ethan Scott does not have a "nasty" side, despite being at the centre of a love triangle storyline on the soap.

Ethan has been seen pursuing a relationship with waitress Theresa McQueen (Jorgie Porter) on the show, despite already being engaged to fellow newcomer Liberty Savage (Abi Phillips).

However, speaking to the official Hollyoaks website about Ethan and Liberty's romance, Vye explained: "It's quite a casual relationship to begin with - she thinks about it more seriously than [he does]. She thinks that [they're] engaged.

"I wouldn't say that Ethan's a player. I think he's quite cool and a bit of a ladies' man, but he's not nasty with it. He just can't help himself, I think!"

The actor added: "He starts falling head over heels in love with Theresa McQueen, so there is a bit of a love triangle that's going on, because Theresa is best mates with Liberty. So I think it's going to be interesting!"

Ethan is currently unaware of Theresa's dark history as she continues to hide the fact that she killed Calvin Valentine earlier this year.

I thought they'd end up bringing Doug back, it seemed a bit pointless to bring him in for a week only to send him off. Gaz was a plot device so I'm not too bothered about him.

Hollyoaks' series producer Paul Marquess has confirmed that the soap's sinister new character Cameron will be a dangerous presence in the village "throughout 2011".

Earlier this month, it was officially announced that the new arrival will murder student India Longford (Beth Kingston) in a dark Christmas storyline.

India makes contact with Cameron when she experiments with online dating, but her search for love goes tragically wrong when her internet 'admirer' attacks her in a dark and abandoned alley before dumping her body in the woods.

Writing on the official Hollyoaks website, Marquess teased: "Christmas sees the beginning of one of Hollyoaks' darkest ever stories - when a serial killer arrives in the village.

"Choosing an innocent and trusting student as his first victim, this mild-mannered killer is set to wreak havoc in Hollyoaks throughout 2011. Who will be his next victim? And when, if ever, will he be found out?"

Jeff Rawle - who plays the killer - recently promised that there will be "massive surprises" for viewers as the plot continues.

Show bosses have said that they want India's murder to promote the importance of internet safety.
