Yeah, considering recent events it was quite the timing.

I'm glad they're doing something original with Tamwar and Nancy though. Pays off when they venture away from love triangles and affairs.

Ooh, according to DS they've been given the green light on the new set build.

Apparently they're not building a temporary set now. Going straight to the permanent one in a new place and then building new areas where the current set is.

The damage they're doing to Ronnie is near irreversible The only way I can see her being slightly redeemed is by getting sectioned or something.

I don't know why they've waited this long to go back down the darker route with Ronnie, it's been like 2 years since she killed Carl

The ironic thing is Ronnie did more harm to Roxie in that one episode than Dean has throughout their entire relationship
I like that it's not quite as simple as "possessive and abusive boyfriend breaks girlfriend apart from her family." Ronnie is as much of a psycho as Dean. In a lot of ways, they're very similar, both completely in denial about anything that they've done.
Also bye at them giving Fats some of his best material in years when he's leaving soon. This whole thing with his mum could have been a great story for Fats and given them a way to actually expand him as a character...but it's his exit
