Evra has been a top 5 performer(minimum) for us this season. He just needed someone to come in to give him a break now and then and obviously playing with the death of his bro must of been tough as it would for anyone.

I often stay for a bit, then disappear for a while, and then return and do the same again.

I'm still unsure personally if its gotten much better. Still a brilliant header of the ball but as you say, his positioning is terrible.. Trying to play his way out of defence at the weekend was ridiculous as well.. No where near the player he used to be.
However, he is fantastic going forward. Better than ever. Would of liked to of signed Baines last summer though.

Baines is hardly more solid defensively tbh. Main thing he would bring is a brilliant left foot, but we have Robin and Giggsy for that now

You have finally come round to my way of thinking i see was inevitable lol. But in all seriousness he is amazing going forward in terms of his interchange however his final ball is still **** he literally never beats the first man but his sudden goal rush this year has compensated

Of course due to age he will never be as good as he was in his prime but the least you should expect from him is too bloody run back when we under pressure rather then walk.

Its amazing for such a Massive League that England haven't got out and out striker in the vain of a Van Persie. Rooney plays more off the forward They have a world class midfields, great defenders and a great GK. Walcott has it in him to be top class. He's been knocking them in for us this season at the Gunners.
