I've always wondered, what's the deal with Anderson? is he actually any good? Why has he never really established himself and why hasn't Fergie got rid of him?

Inconsistency and injuries. I often point to the two games vs Arsenal in 2010/11 which sums up Anderson. In the 1-0 win at home to them he was outstanding, yet in the reverse fixture he was woeful.

When he's good, he's 'effin fantastic. However, when he's poor, I doubt he'd make it in a Sunday league team.

Injuries have been a big issue for him. He's had long term injuries for the past three seasons. When he first arrived he was fantastic, things have gone down hill from there. I am still a fan of him but he's a bit like Nani, frustrating. I honestly thought he was going to be sold last summer.

Well fuken played Fergie you have got thoses saggy balls back at last. Like I said before if he is not going to play Wayne up top bench him cause he is useless on the wing and NANI starting is just boner worthy

Lewandowski set to go to Bayern if latest rumours are true, unfortunately.

I'm not saying Fergie and Rooney have fallen out but this reminds me so much of 2002/03, second leg v Madrid, ironically, Beckham dropped to the bench...

Probably due to his energy, although Hernandez is energetic as well, and he had a great game in the Bernabeu. Not sure why his finishing has become so poor when in the first half of last season he bagged quite a few.
He was a constant nuisance in the first leg, however.

I am behind Fergie 100% on this. Like I said if he did not plan on starting Wayne up top he should be on the bench and let's be totally honest his passing and touch has been no existent for months now

NANI is 100% the winger Wayne is and if on top form has that x factor Wayne lost after his first season with us

For me his best season was 2009/10, up until he got injured. He was brilliant. Would definitely say better than in his first season that campaign.

Kagawa is probably pretty gutted also xD.
