what the Huw supporters are trying to do is normalise older men going on dating apps and paying large quantities of cash to satisfy their sexual urges with young teens. Anyone that thinks that is ok needs a swift kicking

The child would have got the money from drugs from somewhere but having it so easily provided made the slide into full blown addiction easier. It probably would have been evident from their appearance exactly what they were spending these payments on.

the problem is that dodgy money can be earned in 1000 different ways. It drifts into the area of exploitation if the person paying the cash knows what is happening, but that is very difficult to prove

People don’t actually care care about the well being of the alleged ‘victims’ the right wing media, especially the Murdoch owned organisations, have used a persons complicated private life to take a very obvious shot at the bbc to try and garner support to get rid of it, which is the ultimate goal for Murdoch and his cronies, that’s what all this is about, being able to put someone and destroy their life in the process is probably just seen as a nice little cherry on top for a rag that has had that hobby for decades, it’s a political hit job with major collateral damage.
But I think think they’ve gone too far this time and I have a feeling that the average person can see this whole episode exactly for what it is

It's very difficult to prove that it's exploitation on a criminal sense i.e. that your various tricks/johns/punters/onlyfand subscribers should actually go to jail, but that has little to nothing to do with whether people can individually consider it to be exploitative behaviour. Paying a drug-addled teenager for pics to get off over is 100% exploitation I think fairly unambiguously. For me personally, all sex work is exploitative, no matter how many people try to naively argue that it's "empowering". That part is more up for debate. But yeah. I don't think a 60 year old bloke paying a young boy (whether he be 17 or 19) for sex pictures can be viewed as anything but exploitation. And just gross. |

I think yall just disgusted that a married man would be so careless about his sexuality, how dare he thinks he can get away with using grindr for hookups. He must be punished.

that's what i was saying earlier and his friends are all beavering away trying to normalise it, which i find absolutely shocking. There seems to be no level of behaviour these days that should result in the person being ashamed of themselves

The rest? It's not like he's innocent, his life is ruined because he got caught with his hands down his pants. He was trotting along quite merrily doing what he was doing until people found out about it, and now his "mental health is in tatters". Why? He has plenty of money, he's 60, he can retire and disappear - maybe his family won't forgive him but that's their business, not a reason for them to not to have found out what he was doing. So what's the problem? The problem is that he can't carry on his prestigious career and his image and reputation are destroyed. If it was because of complete fictions that would be awful. But it's not... it's because he did the sort of gross, exploitative cummy nonsense that he will have known fine well would ruin his reputation if it ever came out. His mental health is only "in tatters" because it came out. For him as an individual it's easy to have sympathy and if he wanted to simply apologise, disappear and live his life in peace then he should be allowed to do that. But what he's in turmoil over, again, is losing his career and reputation. That **** is at no one's feet but his own. |

yes we can, seedy and immoral and probably a criminal act covered up yet again because of how high profile he is and the endless embarrassment it could cause if he were charged If the BBC had done its job and investigated and agreed with Huw to stop the payments and contact with the young man then the papers would not have been involved..

Poor Huw is very vulnerable....
https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/uknew...cc384f786&ei=8 I mean that might wash if it was a few times with one person, but this has been going on for years, and with multiple TEENs
